I like Brea soft phone on IOS. It’s very accessible, many features and easy to
set up. It is not free however but it wasn’t that bad last time I checked.
On the Mac XLite is free and works very well.
I also use grand stream physical phones and devices. Very low cost and a lot
of the code out there for PBXs is written with grand stream in mind.
