No. You will need the latest version of Raspbian for bluetooth. I never could
get Bluetooth to pare. If someone knows how to do it I would love to here about
it. I googled it to death but no solution worked. It has been a couple of month
sinse I last tried.

I obtained my pi 3 yesterday. Is bluetooth and wifi automatically switched on?
I am tempted to insert my model 2 B sd card into the pi 3 but I wouldn’t do
that if I can then not access the wifi and bluetooth features.
