Hello everyone, I have a request for information. I am finding it problematic to write SD card images at this time. DD on linux works but is extremely slow (slower than it ought to be - probably due to the card reader/writer) being an external USB model. I really want to find a quicker, reliable way to write images on Windows. I have a built-in card reader/writer in the Windows laptop and I believe this will work well with the right software. I don't want to install linux as a virtual or secondary operating system on the laptop though. Since it won't boot linux from CD or flashdisk, this means I need a Windows based SD card image writing program until I can upgrade one of the linux computers to have a built-in card reader/writer. Does anyone have any suggestions? The Wiki says roadkill, but google won't bring anything up on my attempts to find a program called roadkill. The only other program I have found is from a website from a gentleman named Alex, and I'm now certain his software doesn't work correctly for image writing. =========================================================== The raspberry-vi mailing list Archives: //www.freelists.org/archives/raspberry-vi Administrative contact: <mike.ray@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> ----------------------------------------------------------- Raspberry Pi and the Raspberry Pi logo are trademarks of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
