I'm following Jim's lead in making my pi mobile. I have wifi working and I have a battery pack. The keyboard remains. I have an old Igo Think Outside foldable keyboard. I have managed to have the pi scan for bluetooth devices. It saw a bluetooth speaker and the keyboard. (Getting the bluetooth speaker working would be nice, too.) Here's the thing: I can't get anything to pair. I think I use bluetoothctl for this, but it doesn't work. bluetoothctl also complains that I don't have a default controller. Google and I have been pals for hours and hours, but this is far as I can get. I need the keyboard to pair reliably at boot when it is on otherwise I will have to carry the big bad keyboard around which defeats having a very portable bluetooth alternative.
