Hi.
I finally got my pi running with the lite version of the latest raspean.
Do I need the full one to access sound and getting it to talk?
If I can get the lite version to talk, that would be cool as well.

raspberry or You may be able to open a command prompt on your computer and
then ping raspberry. Then using Putty you should be able to SSH into it with
that ip address.
When you can do that, there is a patch which has been posted on here before
to get it talking. I can repost the directions on how to do this if you
can't find the previous post.

Subject: [raspberry-vi] images won't boot
Hi.
I'm having a problem booting the raspberry pi.
I can't get either image to boot from the raspberry vi website.
I even tried earphones with it, but couldn't hear anything. I wonder if it
is booting and the volume is low, or if it even is booting?
Is there a way I can get it to automatically connect to my wifi network so I
can ssh into it and see what the problem is?
I used the latest win flash tool to flash the card. I also wonder if the
image was not written correctly.
Any suggestions will be helpful.
