I'm delighted with my (somewhat aged) HP OfficeJet Pro X41dn printer:

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/475545/Hp-Officejet-Pro-X451.html
It's a fast, four-color, duplexing inkjet printer with two paper trays.
It speaks USB, but we use it via my local 100Base-T network. Most of
our local machines run macOS, which includes CUPS. So, it should work
with a CUPS-enabled RasPi (YMMV).
This printer is commonly available on eBay for a few hundred dollars.

What are everyone using for printers with their Pis? I'm looking for a
budget laser printer, Network would be nice, USB otherwise, good
quality, and Pi supported, wanting to set up a Pi as a network print
server.
