Hi,
So I made an ISO of my RPI that is running on my PI4, on a 16GB card.
It is only 48% used, so I should be able to shrink it to fit on an 8GB card.
This is the Vanilla-SDR image that has SDR software installed, which I finally
got talking, so if folks want to use it and perhaps make it better they can.
So I've been overwhelmed with the complexity of shrinking the root partition,
and I still don't feel like I'm understanding all the steps, but I'm wondering
if it is easier done on another Linux machine.
I mean what if I made an 8GB partition on my 32 GB SD card, and copied
everything from the root FS from my image to it.
Should I use fdisk to shrink the root of my RPI image first?
I downloaded win32 disk imager to try it from windows, but for some reason that
isn't working out, like I'm not understanding that program.
If I get steps to do this, I'll remove my password and WIFI password so folks
can log in and edit WPA supplicant to match their router.
But at least now I have the ISO of my working one, so if I screw this up, I can
get back my working RPI image.
