Did you use my shrinking instructions I posted to this list?

16GB SD card, and I keep trying to shrink the ext4 partition on the SD card
using Ubuntu on my main computer.
I have tried parted and I get mounting errors, telling me it is not mounted.
I have tried it with the disk utility too, using the GUI.
Same mount error.
I have tried it with /dev/sdc2 mounted and unmounted.
After changing the mount status, I do
mount -a to update fstab.
I've tried it after changing mount status without the mount -a command.
This is the reason I have a love hate relationship with Linux.
