Hello Again Everyone,
Here is the revised-final plan for our outing on Friday.
1. The biggest change is that we will be switching the order for the two
foursomes in the morning.
2. Also. I wanted to specify that we will be wearing the green SOGAGG
shirts.
3. If anyone wants to join us in the afternoon for the fun nine hole game,
that would be wonderful. We have two openings. We might have a guest taking
one of them. So first come, first serve.
Finally, I realize none of us have played Balboa before, so I attached the
two score cards to help you prepare your game plan.
Don't forget about breakfast at Balboa Golf Resort's Tobey's 19th Hole
Restaurant around 7 am. and the Volunteer planning meeting at 1pm.

Nassau. In a Nassau round, the two person team winning the front nine wins
$2 per player, the team winning the back nine gets wins $2 per player, and
the team winning the overall 18-hole round wins a wins $2 per player. We

determine who wins a hole by comparing of the best score on each team with
handicaps calculated in. The main thing is that in Nassau there are three
tournaments in one: front nine, back nine, overall.
The rules of Nines or 5-3-1
Nine points are awarded to the three players on every hole in the match.
The points are awarded on the basis of how the players score with the
handicaps applied. Here's how the points are distributed:
- First place - 5 pts, second place - 3 pts, third place - 1 pt
- First place - 5 pts, and two tied for second place - 2 pts each
- Two tied for first place - 4 pts, third place - 1 pt
- All tied - 3 pts each
- First place wins with birdie or better - 7 pts, second and third place
- 1 pt

breakfast around 7 am for any of us who wish to join him for a fine meal
before we play. In the morning we will be playing a very straight forward
Nassau game. In the afternoon we will play a game called The Rule of Nines.

have a side meeting at 1 pm (or whenever we are ready) for anyone involved
