I have heard from people at the Coronado Golf Course that the guidance from the
County and from Sacramento kept changing, by the day, last week. No one wanted
to screw up their chance to reopen on May 1st, so SD County courses decided to
play it safe. But today, I read that 55 and older can now use carts, along with
golfers with medical conditions. Golfers with medical conditions can also have
a family member in the cart with them. I played on May 1st and the group behind
me had two older guys in carts because of ADA rules.
I think the guidelines will continue to evolve quickly,
