[TN-Bird] Bellevue: Am Tree Sparrow

Wish Granted! I continued to check the feeder area every few
minutes today. Perhaps an hour ago I saw a sparrow briefly
that looked different, but it flew away almost immediately.
However, the same bird returned a few minutes ago, began to
scurry around for seeds, and this time it stayed for a while
enabling me to see its bicolored bill, dark breast spot, and
bright rufous cap: an AMERICAN TREE SPARROW. It was not a
new yard bird however as I'd seen one by the feeders perhaps
15 years ago.
