[TN-Bird] Bon Aqua Woods and Natchez Trace

Bon Aqua Woods SNA, Hickman Co. and Natchez Trace Parkway, Maury Co and
Williamson Co.
NTOS and friends explored the Bon Aqua Woods SNA and a portion of the Natchez
Trace Parkway this beautiful day-after-a-huge-storm.We were delighted to have
John Noel show us the Bon Aqua Woods, a 35 acre old growth forest that was
saved recently from being cut down. Magnificent trees that are several hundred
years old were alive with birds, and the several stops along the Natchez Trace
were equally rewarding. We tallied 53 species including
Eastern Phoebes
1 White-eyed Vireo
1 Yello-throated Vireo
a possible Blue-headed Vireo
Tree Swallow
Barn Swallow
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Wood Thrush SINGING
1 Blue-winged Warbler
10 Northern Parula
12 Yellow-rumped Warblers
1 Black-throated Green Warbler
2 Yellow-throated Warblers
a possible Pine Warbler
1 Prairie Warbler
1 Palm Warbler
2 Louisiana Waterthrush
Many Towhees
5 Chipping Sparrows
2 Indigo Buntings
