TN birders, Sometimes it seems nothing good turns up locally, but today was the exception. Although I had been taking my am walk through Tinsley Park and along the Cleveland Greenway, I took a part I usually don't walk this am, since Becky and our 1 year old granddaughter was with us in the stroller. Even with the front door of Home Depot on the greenway, I heard the call of a king rail three times in succession. There is a nice cattail marsh here, but before, all it produced was red-winged blackbirds and common yellowthroats. Other birds of note: eastern kingbird-3 scarlet tanager-2f louisiana waterthrush-hrd rose-breasted grosbeak-hrd David Chaffin Cleveland Bradley Co =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
