Brainerd Levee, Chattanooga, TN
Feb 18, 2003, 10-11 a.m.

Sandhill Crane (10) in the weeds in the center of the nature trail circle
behind the Vulcan recreational area. The weeds were taller than the cranes,
and I wouldn't have seen them if they hadn't taken off.

N Bobwhite, at least 3 calling vigorously, horse pasture at mile 0.3

Killdeer, 130+, horse pasture at mile 0.3

Rusty Blackbird, 1, horse pasture at mile 0.2

No sign of Tree Swallows or Blue-winged Teal

David Patterson
