My wife Eula , daughter Kathy and I visited the Britton Ford Observation Stand Sunday afternoon. Water was high. We saw only two Great Blue Herons and two Dougle-crested cormorants. On the way to Pace Point on Elkhorn road just past the road dam was one BOBOLINK standing on the left side of the road. Water at Pace Point was also high. Eight adult and one first year immature Caspain terns were adding color to the point's protected waters. Also present with the terns were about thirty adult and one first year immateur Ring-Billed gulls. Two Great Blue herons and two Double-Crested cormorants were also present at the point. The Caspain terns and Ring -Billed gulls allowed us to really enjoy our new scope.
