This is one I have been waiting a long time for. FINALLY my yard- first Connecticut Warbler singing this morning (5/10/2012) at our place in western Lewis County. True to form, though the bird was sometimes singing only about 7 meters from me, all I saw were brief glimpses of it in flight between thick bramble patches. This is yard bird #185 and yard warbler #35 (including chat). This leaves only one regularly occurring warbler from the TN state list that I still have not gotten for the "yard" (Swainson's).
