MorningŠ.
Lyda, the letter you received is the EXACT same one I received as I
suspect many others have too. My guess is a form letter sent by an aide.
While I think continuing to send the pre-written letters via ABC or Audubon
websites is a necessary thing. Along with personal letter as recommended by
David Aborn, I would also highly recommend CALLING. There¹s nothing like
receiving a phone call. Granted you¹ll still probably be talking to an
³aide² of Corker¹sŠbut person to person shows effort and commitment .

For those of you who want to the phone number is: 423-756-2757 this is his
office in Chattanooga and here is his number in Washington: 202-224-3344

Just my 2 cents.

Subject: [TN-Bird] Corker's non-response response re: Migratory Bird Treaty
Act

Dear Ms. Phillips,
Thank you for taking the time to contact my office to share your concerns
about the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Your opinion is important to me, and I
appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts.

The preservation of wildlife and the environment is very important to me. I
believe we as elected officials have the responsibility of enacting
legislation that protects our abundant natural resources for future
generations to enjoy. While it is necessary that we reign in spending and
work to balance the budget, we must make sure that this is not done to the
detriment of our natural resources. As we go through the appropriations
process, I will certainly take into consideration your concerns about our
natural resources and programs that encourage ecosystem restoration.

Thank you again for your letter. I hope you will continue to share your
thoughts with me.
Sincerely,

Bob Corker
United States Senator
