7-1-07 Ellington Ag Center Davidson Co. I birded the north end of Ellington this morning and had some interesting finds. There was a Chat singing at the edge of the field by the graveyard on top of the small hill. This is the first time I've had a Chat at Ellington during the breeding season. The male Blue Grosbeak was there again at the southeast corner of the big sparrow field, but no female seen yet. When I pished at a female Common Yellowthroat, out popped a male and female Orchard Oriole in that same field. This is also the first time I've had them there during the breeding season. Lots of Indigos and Red-winged Blackbirds seen also.
