I spent a few minutes birding the yard this morning and had the
following of note:

Chestnut-sided Warbler (#60 for the yard - not bad for six weeks!)
Tennessee Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Palm Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Red-eyed Vireo
Swainson's Thrush
Scarlet Tanager (#61)
Gray-cheeked Thrush (FOS; #62)

BTW, RIGHT NOW is the time to be out at Snow Bunting Peninsula on Old
Hickory Lake. I've said it many times, and Michael Bierly said it to
me many times before that - stormy weather is a great time for birding
there (but be safe, of course). Also BTW, anyone checking up there
should also check the pier out from Drake's Creek Marina, which always
has a good concentration of gulls and terns this time of year. The
other day I had 20 Forster's, 5 Caspians, and all three gulls there.
I've also had both Franklin's and Laughing Gulls there, and once had
both there. Lastly, scope the two big pylons (or whatever they are)
just above the dam; lots of Caspians were sitting there on Monday.
