It's felt like a minor changing of the guard in Davidson County the past
two days (10/4-5), with a sudden influx of FOS Yellow-rumped Warblers at
Radnor (yesterday) and Shelby Bottoms (today), Palm Warblers (today and
yesterday), Swamp Sparrows (today), Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers (today), and
also today a Lincoln's Sparrow seen with Jim Arnett and Olyver Zahn at
Shelby. We're still seeing other migrants, with 10+ warbler species both
days, but mostly in only ones and twos. The big exception is Black-throated
Greens, which seemed to be everywhere at Shelby Bottoms today. Good birding!
