I didn’t see World Shorebirds Day until a day or so ago - this is a
worldwide count of shorebirds, being held this weekend (Sept 5-7). Too bad
Mississippi missed out on planning, but if you logged any shorebirds
anywhere in the state during those days, you can still submit your site and
your count, and register for prizes! A good place to find out about it is
the current page on ebird

If you already submitted on ebird, you can still route that checklist to
World Shorebirds day. Just do this:
1. Go to the worldshorebirdsday website (the link above) and register your
site.
2. Get on ebird —> myebird —> manage my checklists and find the checklist
you want to submit
3. Choose “share,” and on the share page, under “manage my contacts,” add
worldshorebirdsday as a contact
4. then “share” with worldshorebirdsday.
