NTOS has agreed to be a co-sponsor with Warner Parks for a screening of a documentary on the Ivory-billed Woodpecker called "Ghost Bird." It will be held at the Warner Park Nature Center at 7311 Hwy 100, Nashville 37221 on Tuesday, March 8 from 7:00-8:30 PM. Please call Warner Park at 352-6299 for reservations. Set in a murky swamp overrun with birders, scientists, and reporters, Ghost Bird is a documentary film that explores the limits of certainty, the seductive power of hope, and how one phantom woodpecker changed a sleepy Southern town forever. After the film, NTOS member Melinda Welton will share her experiences as one of the official searchers for the Ivory-billed. Come join us for a fun and interesting evening.
