8 November 2014 Hamilton County, TN I have tallied the numbers of birds banded at Greenway Farms this fall (August 25-October 29). Sixteen nets were run 3 days per week, from sunrise until noonish. Three days were cancelled because of rain. We banded 416 individuals comprising 48 species. The five most numerous species were Magnolia Warbler (55), Wood Thrush (36; a record high number), Hooded Warbler (33), Gray-cheeked Thrush (24), and Swainson's Thrush (22). The week from September 19-26 was especially busy; we banded 156 individuals, and 118 of those were migrants. Highlights included only the 3rd Black-throated-green Warbler and Blackburnian Warbler I have caught out there, and a late Worm-eating Warbler (previously posted). I am in the process of totaling my numbers for the entire 12 years I have been banding out there. David Aborn Chattanooga, TN
