Thanks to Beth Schilling telling Tony Headrick, who passed it on to us, we saw at least 40 Bobolinks at 12:30 p.m. today. The location is the field behind the LCUB substation on Byington/Solway Road near Wesbridge Industrial Park off Hardin Valley Road in the Karns area. If you don't see any at first, keep looking. Sometimes they are down in the tall grass, sometimes they are hidden in the largest tree at the north side of the field, and sometimes a few perch in a smaller tree at the rear fence of the substation.
