5-3-05 Shelby Park and Bottoms Davidson Co. I was feeling warbler deficient, so Phillip Casteel and I birded this morning and recorded 85 species in Shelby Park and Phase 1 of the Bottoms. There were 23 species of warblers, including a wonderfully prolonged look at a gorgeous Blackburnian. We also had a lingering Hermit Thrush, all the vireos except Philadelphia, both tanagers and both orioles. warblers: blue-winged TN Nashville N. parula yellow magnolia Cape May yellow-rumped black-throated green blackburnian yellow-throated pine prairie palm bay-breasted blackpoll black-and-white American redstart ovenbird N. waterthrush Kentucky common yellowthroat yellow-breasted chat Jan Shaw Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
