[TN-Bird] Kyker Bottoms Wildlife refuge

TN - birders,
Sharon Bostick, Frank Bills, Dollyann Myers, and I went to Kyker Bottoms 
refuge, in Blount Co., yesterday morning to try to fine some first of the year 
birds. It was pretty windy but we had some nice results. The highlight was an 
AMERICAN BITTERN that flushed up before us as we walked out along one of the 
levees. Some of the other highlights were:

Blue-winged Teal
Northern Bobwhite (heard only)
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Wilson
s Snipe
Purple Martins (lots)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Rusty Black bird (9)
