I'm familiar a little bit with Eurasian Wigeon from a recent Duck River
trip. I was planning on birding Kyker tomorrow. However, I think that it
is supposed to rain for the next three days. If it looks like we will get a
break from the rain, I'll go in the next day or so. Otherwise, it may be
Thursday or Friday.

During a KTOS field trip to Kyker Bottoms this morning, we briefly saw a
duck with a completely reddish head (not one of the 4 redheads seen) that
in retrospect I think might have been a Eurasian Wigeon, a bird I’m not
familiar with. It was on the north side where most all the waterfowl were.
