Bird was found yesterday by Katie Sellers. Bird has been around for 3 days.
Owners are birder friendly and said they saw it first on Friday.
Don’t use Katie’s or Mike Ryon’s eBird Map. They will take you to west side of
field where you can’t see pond.
Directions. Go to intersection of Virtue Rd and Morton Rd. Go South (toward
mountains & Maryville) on Morton Rd. Pond is on the right after you pass the
first pond on ‘Morton Rd. So less than 2/10ths from virtue rd. There are two
pull offs. Bird can be seen with binos but a scope is better in distant pond.
My eBird location should be accurate for where you can pull off and see bird.
