Tn-birders, Dollyann and I went to Radnor Lake today to try for the MacGillivray's Warbler. When we got there, about 9:15 CST, we ran into Phillip Casteel, Rick Knight, and Tommy Edwards, who were standing on the bridge over the dam. They had seen the bird earlier, but hadn't seen it for about 30 minutes. We waited with them for a while and then about 10 CST, the bird started feeding again (and making a chipping noise while doing so-it was silent while not feeding). It was between the bridge and the point on the lake (on the ranger's house side). We watched it from the bridge for about 5-7 minutes as it worked it's way towards us, across the walkway going onto the bridge, and then further downstream along the same bank. We had several nice looks at it, but it was in almost constant motion as it fed in the weeds and shrubs along the bank. We eventually lost sight of it below the dam. We waited another 40 minutes or so, but never saw it again. Way cool !!! Thanks, Jan!
