Following up on my report from last week, this afternoon while walking from the BellSouth building to my office in the Bank of America building in downtown Nashville, I saw a Peregrine Falcon soaring near the L&C tower. The L&C used to be a regular perch for the falcon that was resident downtown for several years. After my previous post, I was reminded of a couple of other sightings recently just outside the central business district of downtown Nashville. Perhaps this is the same bird that has been present for all these years, and it is now returning to the area it used to favor? We'll never know, but I'm glad to see one that appears to be a resident again.
