Please join the Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society
this Thursday, June 20th at the Radnor Lake State Park visitor's center,
1160 Otter Creek Rd, Nashville. We will gather at 7:00 p.m. and the meeting
starts at 7:15 p.m.
This month's program is Birding Ecuador by Dave Hawkins.
Dave and Laurie Hawkins spent 16 days in Ecuador this last March visiting
the country’s highs and lows. Highs included the Antisana Ecological
reserve that lies at the base of the Antisana Volcano, peaking at 18,000
feet in the Andes Mountains. The lows included traveling to the
moderately-dense forest of the Amazon slope. Their journey covered some of
Ecuador’s most biologically diverse offerings at various elevations and
habitats.
Dave's programs are always incredible and this will be no exception! Public
always welcomed.
