Yesterday morning until later afternoon I birded all the bodies of water I could cover in and around Campbell and Scott Counties, TN - North and NW of Knoxville, TN. Included were Cove Lake State park morning and late evening again as well as reachable portions of Norris Lake; Scott County reservoir, Oneida City Park Lake and a few other small lakes in Scott County; Winfield Community park, as well as wet fields in all areas. I found no storm birds. In fact, I saw very little. With the winds that came through Campbell County late afternoon, very possibly I just went out too early, though actually I believe the storm just passed too far West for any fallout here. For some reason, it was hard to get into the mood to bird after watching the destruction and distress of the population in the states hit so hard...
