Birded Songbird Trail below Norris Dam (Anderson Co.) from 11:05 - 1:15. Very slow at first but got into a couple of groups. Saw my first Golden-winged Warbler for the year actually hanging from a sycamore leaf at one point. You've got to be light to hang from a leaf without tearing it.
American redstart - 3 Black-and-white warbler - 1 Blue-winged warbler - 1 m Chestnut-sided warbler - 1Golden-winged warbler - 1 f (F.O.Y.) chased by the Blue-winged once or twice
Magnolia warbler - 1-2 Northern parula - 1 Red-eyed vireo - 1 White-eyed vireo - 3 Swainson's thrush - 1 (F.O.S.) Wood thrush - 1 Ruby-throated hummingbird - 10+Left here and went to Eagle Bend fish hatchery in Clinton. The Buff-breasted Sandpiper Chuck Estes reported was still there with some Killdeer between a couple of the long ponds on the left.
