Took a fairly long tour around the northern section of Percy Priest Lake beginning at Anderson Rd. Rec. Area and going clockwise until I finished up at Long Hunter State Park. I was surprised at how few ducks I saw at most of my stops, but finally found a nice-sized raft on Couchville Lake in Long Hunter SP. From what I could see, it was 50-60 birds mainly composed of Hooded Mergansers and Ring-necked Ducks (split fairly evenly between the two). I also saw a group of 7 Common Loons at the Hamilton Creek boat launch. The best bird for me today was a Brown Creeper at Anderson Rd., which I've been searching for this fall and is a lifer.
