This morning I confirmed what I believed I saw last Saturday, Nov 19, and
that was a PEREGRINE FALCON in downtown Maryville. It is hanging out on a
brick apartment building on Church St just west of Citizen?s Bank. It likes
the SE corner atop the building in the evening, but this morning we found it
on a handrail of the upper level of the fire escape which is on the south
side of the building. The coordinates are 35.756405°, -83.970126°. To see it
in the evening, be sure to be there by 5pm. By 5:30 it is roosting somewhere
which I hope to determine tomorrow.
