[TN-Bird] Pickwick Dam, Burton Branch, Natchez Trace Parkway

Hardin, Lewis Counties, TN
Pickwick Dam Area, Burton Branch, Natchez Trace Parkway
Drove south today to bird the big water to find gulls and migrants, some =
of the highlights were:
Common Loons - 5
broad-wing hawk - 3
Ring-billed gull - 50+
Herrring gull - 10+
Caspian Tern - 15
Forster's Tern - 2
Fish crow - 2
wood thrush
Hooded warbler=20
Canada warbler (Burton Branch, 1st day use area on the left)
Kentucky warbler
blue grosbeak
orchard oriole
Most gulls were perched on concrete pilings above dam, could not get a =
good look at them without getting in a boat or getting runover on the =
highway.
