[TN-Bird] Radnor Lake Rusty Blackbirds

clear but warming up

My Saturday morning walk at Radnor Lake was a nice visit in the
sunshine and warming temperatures.  The lake was still partly
frozen and the trails were mostly snow covered but the variety
of birds was good.

I found 3 small flocks of RUSTY BLACKBIRDs as I walked around the
lake.  Other finds of interest were a single female PURPLE FINCH, a
BARRED OWL sunning itself near bench 18, 7 WILD TURKEYs scratching
for breakfast, and 11 species of ducks on the lake, mostly in the
cove and east end (see below).
