Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.

The passing cold and wet front produced some good birding this morning at
Radnor Lake. I stayed on the north side of the Lake Trail to be sheltered
from the wind. There was a definite influx of vireos since I was there on
Sunday, and five migrants were FOS for me.

Migrants:
chimney swift
eastern phoebe
eastern kingbird FOS
white-eyed vireo
yellow-throated vireo
blue-headed vireo FOS
red-eyed vireo FOS
tree swallow
n. rough-winged swallow
barn swallow
blue-gray gnatcatcher
blue-winged warbler my FOS was yesterday in my yard
Nashville FOS
n. parula
yellow-rumped still the most common warbler, and everywhere
blackburnian
yellow-throated
palm
cerulean
L. waterthrush
hooded FOS
scarlet tanager

Also, a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in a tree cavity, three Barred
Owls, and four tom turkeys displaying and calling in unison.
