Slow birding this morning for the first NTOS Wednesday bird walk for this
fall, with just 6 species of warblers tallied. Sixteen people enjoyed the
breezy conditions, and what birds were around. Our best small flock was in
the big timber along the lake trail between the old lake platform and the
long bridge. The Wilson's warbler was seen at the point by the spillway.
