Birders,
I walked the first part of the Lake Trail at Radnor this morning between 9a and
10:30a. I ran into Frank Fekel and we compared lists. I walked on to the
first long bridge hearing and seeing 39 Swainson's Thrushes. I had 10 warblers
and other expected birds but the star of the show was the Bald Eagle sitting
near his usual place eating a fish then flying high into a dead tree. I was
able to point the eagle out to several folks passing by on the trail. They all
seemed amazed to see a Bald Eagle at Radnor!
