[TN-Bird] BH Vireo, warblers, etc. - Knox, Jefferson

A few things of note in the yard (west Knox Co) over the past few days
including several new late dates for the yard:

Osprey, 1, 5/10

Yellow-billed Cuckoo, 1, 5/12 FOS for the yard, none in the yard in 2007
previously regular

Blue-headed Vireo, 1, seen and heard on 5/12, new late date in the yard
by 19 days!

Chestnut-sided Warbler, 2, 5/10 causing excitement by singing B song,
also on 5/12 which is new late date for yard

Magnolia Warbler, 1, 5/10

"Myrtle" Yellow-rumped Warbler, last seen 5/10, new late date for yard

Black-throated Green Warbler, 5/12

Blackburnian Warbler, 2, 5/10, 5/12, new late date for yard

Bay-breasted Warbler, 1-2, 5/10

Blackpoll Warbler, every day since 5/02, 11 days in a row, all males
until 5/12 when no males were heard/seen but several females (2-4)
were passing through

Baltimore Oriole, 1, 5/10

Swainson's Thrush, Summer and Scarlet Tanagers, and Rose-breasted
Grosbeaks continue as well.



And some notes from Jefferson Co on 5/11:

White-crowned Sparrow, continue at my parents' feeders in Jefferson
City

Rose-breasted Grosbeak as well

At the ponds in New Market along Old AJ Hwy, Whitaker and Eslinger Rds:
Spotted Sandpiper, 2
Least Sandpiper, at least 8
Semipalmated Sandpiper, 1

Eurasian Collared-Dove, 1 on the wires directly over Hwy 11-E at the
usual spot by the dairy farm and ambulance station in New Market.
