This evening ....(May 20)...I was on my way back to Morristown from
Greeneville. I first went down Bridgeburner's Blvd (into Walmart Dist....off
11E, Exit 23 off I-81) ...to hear 3 singing Dicksissel males, and see one of
them display for a female.

A little later when passing by fish-hatchery ponds (Exit 15, N. off I-81)....I
saw a bird in waters edge spinning and feeding. The pharalope was determined
to be a Red-necked....due to thin bill, striped back, reddish neck, and smaller
size. The bird was on North most pond on East (near) side.... observed with
8X30 from about 30 yards....

tropical storm on East coast last couple of days may have helped "steer" him
inland.
