[TN-Bird] Refuge Flooding

Kentucky and Barkley Lakes will soon be experiencing record flooding with
water levels expected to be within a foot and a half of the top of the flood
gates at these two dams.  KY Lake is going to peak 4.5' higher than last
year.  These floods will probably last a while and the refuges will likely
experience significant damage thus extending closures.  Closures could
easily last for one to two months depending upon the area.  One should call
ahead or check refuge web sites before traveling to these refuges for
birding.
