26 April 2008

On Saturday, we had our first Rose-breasted Grosbeaks of the season. So
far, we have seen two males and two females.

29 April 2008

I saw a flock (20 to 30) Bobolinks in a field east of Rives, Tennessee this
morning. Then, on the way home after lunch I heard a Grasshopper Sparrow.
I got out to investigate, and I finally saw it after it flew from a
butterweed stem. No sign of the Bobolinks.
