Bledsoe, Sequatchie and Marion counties
Sunday, May 27, 2012

We drove up to Nine mile crossroad in Bledsoe co. today. We
saw a single male Scissor-tailed Flycatcher in the usual area
on an electric power line. There was no evidence of a nest in
the vicinity of a nearby power pole.

In Marion county at the South Pittsburgh High School football
stadium we saw both male and female Scissor-tailed Flycatchers.
She was on the nest occasionally. This years nest is in the same
location as last years, that being, on the light pole on the baseball
stadium side of the football field. The nest is visible as it is on the
wire floor under the lights.

We also had at least one or more Eurasian Collared-Dove's in
each of the 3 previously mentioned counties.
