What Sharp-tailed Sandpiper?? Has this bird been reported before? This
is the first that I've heard of it. How long has it been there? Who
found it?? How was it identified as a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper??? What
plumage is it in?
I'm sure that since this would be the 2nd state record for this species
that there just might be a couple of birders out there who would be
interested in this bird!
Any details would be appreciated and I'm sure several birders from across
the state would like to know with the weekend upon us.

Thanks!

The Sharp-tailed was seen yesterday afternoon at Ensley Bottoms on the
largest raised pond was seen about 20 yards from where I saw the first
one on 9/12/92.
