37 species on the day after visiting all three areas down at the bottoms, 47 
degrees, cloudy slight breeze rain on its way.

Comments:     Started my day here on Riverport rd. Overcast, 47 degrees slight 
breeze rain on its way.

TVA Allen Fossil (Steam) Plant ash ponds, Shelby, US-TN

Comments:     Overcast, 47 degs slight breeze, ran into Virginia Reynolds at 
the TVA plant, lots of waterfowl on the ponds today not much diversity though. 
Birds coming and going.

Greater Scaup  75     Quite a few of the bigger birds probably more but most of 
the scaup were tucked away sleeping within the big raft of birds.
Lesser Scaup  4027     Biggest raft of birds I've seen this season, cold 
weather of late with a warming trend starting today may keep the birds a bit 
longer.
Double-crested Cormorant  1
American White Pelican  33     first set of 13 came over headed N-NE as we 
scanned the ducks, second set was seen about an hour later same heading as I 
departed the area.

Comments:     After birding the TVA Lakes and Riverport Rd I came down here to 
see whats going on. Lots of water,water everywhere., All the lagoons are full 
and the spread fields are puddled up pretty well. Some of the levee roads are 
not good unless you have 4wd, and then you'll be trenching them up.

Brown-headed Cowbird  500     Large cloud of blkbirds in the big field north of 
the maint shed.
