I had a SURF SCOTER and a RUDDY DUCK this evening on the Tennessee River
at Tom's Creek Landing in Perry County. Second and fourth County records
respectively. Nearly all of these diving duck records at this location
happen in bad weather during migration, and the birds are always gone when
the weather clears.
