A 1st winter or adult female Surf Scoter was found this afternoon at Booker T.
Washington SP on Chickamauga Lake while searching for the Pacific Loon
previously seen at this location. The bird was seen from the floating dock /
boat ramp location looking directly down river. I did not see the Pacific Loon
but it is probably still in the area. There were many Horned Grebes, Common
Goldeneye, Herring Gulls, and an adult Bald Eagle plus the usual lake species
see at this location.
