Please join the Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society
this Thursday, January 16th for our monthly meeting and program at the
Radnor Lake State Park visitor's center, 1160 Otter Creek Drive, Nashville.
We will gather at 7:00 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:15 p.m.
This month we will be treated to the magnificent images of commercial
photographer Dave Hawkins. Dave and his wife Laurie spent 16 days on the
islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Located less than seven miles from
Venezuela, their close proximity to the South American continent gives the
islands a great diversity of bird life, including brilliant hummingbirds,
flocks of scarlet ibis, and the unique bearded bellbird.
